Culture Program at Kalla: More Than Just a Workplace Culture
Organisational culture is not just a slogan on the wall , it’s the soul that drives every action within the company. At Kalla, culture is not only about how we work, but also why and for whom we work.
At the core of our identity lies Kalla Ways, a philosophy that guides how every Kalla person works and behaves.
It stands on four fundamental values: Kerja Ibadah, Apresiasi Pelanggan, Lebih Cepat Lebih Baik, and Aktif Bersama.
Nilai-nilai inilah yang menjadi pondasi dalam setiap perilaku dan keputusan di lingkungan kerja.
Through the Corporate Culture Program, these values are translated into real actions and collective behaviors, aligning everyone toward the same vision and mission.
One of the most inspiring parts of our culture journey is the implementation of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) values.
When we first introduced this initiative in 2022, it didn’t start from complex sustainability frameworks. It began simply, through the Green Movement, encouraging employees to care more about the environment in their daily routines.
Over time, this movement evolved into a deeper integration of ESG principles into our corporate culture.
ESG inspires all Insan Kalla to:

Kini, perhatian terhadap sustainability bahkan telah menjadi bagian penting dalam visi Kalla:
“Berkomitmen untuk menjaga dan melestarikan lingkungan.”
Every year begins with a Culture Kick off, where each SBU representative presents their planned Culture Program to the Board of Directors and holding PICs, accompanied by their respective chief or director.
After that, we conduct quarterly monitoring sessions to evaluate progress and share best practices among SBUs.
Melalui proses ini, kami belajar bahwa perubahan budaya tidak bisa instan. Namun, dengan konsistensi dan komitmen, budaya itu tumbuh menjadi kebiasaan bersama hingga akhirnya menjadi karakter perusahaan.
Beyond Programs , A Way of Life
Being a Culture Agent for three years has taught me one important lesson:
Culture is not an event; it’s a way of life.
It lives in how we greet each other, how we collaborate, how we make decisions, and how we give meaning to our work.
Program budaya di Kalla bukan sekadar tentang apa yang kami lakukan, tetapi tentang siapa kami sebagai Insan Kalla.
Through every initiative , from ESG to wellbeing and beyond, we continue to shape a workplace where values are lived, not just written.
Because in the end, culture is not built by programs, but by people who believe in them.
